Postmedia Network Canada Corp. will buy Sun Media’s 175 English-language newspapers for $316 million, the companies announced Monday.

The deal includes the Toronto Sun and other Sun papers in Calgary, Winnipeg, Edmonton and Ottawa, and 34 pieces of real estate in three provinces. (Here’s a list of Sun papers.) PostMedia also gets the non-Quebecois iteration of the Web portal Canoe in the deal.
