Good morning! Here are some career updates from the journalism community:

  • Al Anstey has been appointed CEO of Al Jazeera America. Previously, he was managing director of Al Jazeera English. (Poynter)
  • Dorothea Herrey is now senior vice president of NYT Live. Previously, she was in charge of The Wall Street Journal’s conference business. (The New York Times)
  • David Lauter will oversee 2016 campaign coverage for the Los Angeles Times. He is Washington bureau chief there. (Los Angeles Times)
  • Alex Heath will be a tech reporter for Business Insider. He is a staff writer at Cult of Mac. (@alexeheath)
