If you follow many journalists on Twitter, your feed for the next few days will likely be full of news of the Pope and tweets about the Online News Association’s annual conference.

Here are five ways to follow along if you can’t make it to L.A. this year:

1. #ONA15
Follow along with the main conference hashtag, but also check out hashtags for individual sessions, which you can find here.

2. Lists and lists
Follow the student newsroom, attendees, the social team and speakers on Twitter.

3. Follow the smaller talks

New this year to ONA are Table Talks, smaller sessions around specific topics meant to capture hallway conversations while being more inclusive. After the talks, notes will be available on Google Docs.

4. Live blogs

ONA’s social team will be working on live blogs from most sessions, which you can find when you click on session pages. (I’m part of this one.)

5. Watch for yourself

Sessions in the main ballroom will be livestreamed, and audio recordings from other sessions will go up shortly after those sessions are over.
