Oh my god, they’re back again.
The Associated Press made an important clarification on Thursday, noting that The Backstreet Boys are not, in fact, a former boy band. The news cooperative tweeted the correction, which promoted a story detailing the arrest of Backstreet Boys vocalist Nick Carter:
(CORRECTS) Backstreet Boys singer (not former) Nick Carter arrested in Florida after a fight outside a bar: https://t.co/mKvmNccYlH

The story itself also contains a piquant clarification about the venue where Carter got into a scrap; it’s the Hog’s Breath Saloon, not the Hogs Breath Saloon, as the AP notes.
The Boys still appear for fans during an annual cruise and are reportedly working on their ninth album.
