David Gregory, the former moderator and host of “Meet the Press,” is joining CNN as a contributor, the network announced today.
Gregory, who endured months of speculation about his tenure at “Meet the Press” before ceding the show to current host Chuck Todd in last year, will largely appear on “New Day,” according to an internal announcement obtained by POLITICO.
At CNN, Gregory joins a stable of political analysts that includes former White House adviser David Axelrod and GOP strategist Anna Navarro.
