What?! The world is not going to end?
Posted by Dave Barnes 11/11/2009 10:25:16 PM

Oh crap.
I converted my life's savings into fine French Burgundies (white and red) and have been drinking them every day.
And, now some yahoo at NASA claims the world is not going to end.
Well, my will as I am scheduled to consume the last bottle at the appropriate time.
How can I go on without DRC and La Tache?

Here's what NASA should do:

NASA should offer 1,000,000-to-1 odds (meaning that for each $1 wagered, the bettor will make a million) on the proposition that the world will end on Dec. 21, 2012, as "predicted."

Let all these crackpots put their money where their mouths are. Or just shut up.

Heck, if NASA won't do it, I will.
