What about the issue touched on in the cartoon?
Posted by Algerco Algerco 11/20/2009 10:58:03 AM

Shouldn't we have a serious discussion of the issue? Does hate crime legislation punish thought, not action? Matthew Shepard's killers were sentenced to life in a state with no hate crime legislation. James Byrd's killers were put to death in Texas, but not under a hate crime law. They were all punished for their actions. And Newsday is suggestion that political cartoons should never offend? What does that mean? For an interesting analysis: http://www.prorev.com/free.htm

Bruce Tinsley's real problem
