I'm saddened by this, not only that the Strib might pull the comments to protect an advertiser but also that we journos are resorting to folks like Lambert for actual information. It's a nice metaphor for what's happening to many of our audiences: Man buys paper, paper appears to be succumbing to private interests, man cancels subscription and looks to theory-laden, fact-sloppy blogger for his news.
