Canwest and AP
Posted by Mark Laurence 11/3/2009 9:24:48 AM

Canwest has been without AP and CP service for a long time and if anything it's made their news pages more interesting. Readers see bylines from Canwest News Service, Agence France Presse, Reuters, Sports Ticker, many major newspapers and other sources, and world/national news is covered as well as in most major market newspapers. To me, nothing says "you can read the same stuff on the internet for free" better than a byline by AP. I know, that's not fair to the AP which provides a lot of good journalism.
