Dwayne Steward

Dwayne A. Steward was born in Columbus, Ohio but grew up in the small suburban city of Delaware. His interest in journalism arose in high school when he became an editor for his school's publication. He continued this interest at Ohio University, where he received his bachelor's of science in journalism. While receiving his college education he wrote for the university's newspaper, The Post, their research magazine, Perspectives, and their online webzine, SpeakeasyMag.com. He also participated in internships with his hometown newspaper, The Delaware Gazette and The News Journal in Wilmington, Delaware. He dreams of one day being an investigative reporter for a national publication but while awake he hopes to work anywhere that will allow him the opportunity to write and report on the plight of the voiceless, because that's where he believes his true calling lies.
