Marissa Harshman graduates from Western Washington University in June 2007. She is a journalism major and a political science minor. While attending WWU, Marissa worked as a reporter, news editor and sports editor for the student-run newspaper The Western Front, and as a reporter for Klipsun Magazine. Marissa also interned at The Daily News in Longview, Wash. She runs cross-country and track for Western and plans to continue running after graduation, and begin training for her first marathon. Marissa hopes to work as an education, political or crime reporter for a daily newspaper.
