I took a position as digital media manager at WESH.com, an NBC-affiliate owned by Hearst-Argyle Television, in August 2008. Previously I worked for six years at the Orlando Sentinel/OrlandoSentinel.com as deputy online editor, after stints as senior editor/online news, criminal justice editor, and Lake County editor. Before that I was a freelance writer for four years, covering mostly health and aging, and an editor and writer for St. Pete Times for 13 years.
