Christopher Smith is managing editor for local news at The Leaf-Chronicle, in Clarksville, Tenn., and the author of "Daddy On Board: Tales from the Front Seat." He previously worked as a copy editor at The Tallahassee (Fla.) Democrat and at the Daily Home in Talladega, Ala. Christopher received a master's degree in English from Auburn University in 1996 and his bachelor's from Auburn in 1991.
