Monique van Dusseldorp (1965) is the owner of Van Dusseldorp, an Amsterdam based research company specialised in European digital media developments. Van Dusseldorp specialises in collecting and researching case studies of digital media use by publishers, broadcasters, mobile operators, and presenting these to managers, board members, conferences. Van Dusseldorp over the last 5 years initiated and organised a series of internationally renowned seminars and conferences, all with a top line of speakers, including the TVmeetstheWeb and the SMSmeetsTV series. Each conference, seminar or workshop is designed to break new ground in the industry, combining new concepts with the lessons learned from independent research.
Author/editor of the Van Dusseldorp report series, among which "SMS TV, Interactive Television reinvented" (reviewed by The Economist). Co-founder (with Norbert Specker and Robin Hunt) of Europemedia, a news service that from 1997-2003 provided daily and weekly news on European new media developments, together with a network of 60 correspondents.
