About Regret the Error

Regret the Error reports on media errors, corrections, retractions, apologies and trends regarding accuracy and verification. It was launched as a standalone blog in October 2004 by Craig Silverman, an award-winning journalist and author based in Montreal. In December 2011, Regret the Error moved to the Poynter Institute, and Craig was named a member of the adjunct faculty. Read More
