A Georgia church is inviting people to revivals
at which they enter a drawing for gas cards. In Missouri,
a church subsidized gas purchases as a way to reach out to people. An Ohio church
did the same thing.
One California congregation held a prayer vigil at a gas station, asking God to help because gas prices were eating away at the church's ability to deliver social services to the community. They are not alone.
