Archived Chat: What Do College Journalism Students Need to Learn?
In a recent E-Media Tidbits post, "Reimagining J-School Programs in Midst of Changing News Industry," Maurreen Skowran encouraged journalism schools to skate ahead of the puck when designing a curriculum for college students. She shared an outline of a hypothetical curriculum that infuses journalism values with complementary disciplines. (Read others' feedback on her suggested course of study.)
