La Vanguardia.es, along with the Amena company, now sends every morning a selection of the best images of what happened in the world the day before. The Multimedia Message Service (MMS), available only for paid subscribers, has been running for six months. The number of subscribers is still small, around 500, but increasing. This newspaper also has an SMS (text messaging) news service, with 3,000 users subscribed.
