Niles Accepting LAT Buyout
Posted by Steve Outing at 10:26 AM on Jun. 21, 2004

Among the buyout takers is Robert Niles, who is leaving LATimes.com to devote full time (at least for a while) to his personal niche websites, ThemeParkInsider.com and Violinist.com. Both sites have been side ventures maintained while holding down a staff job (the latter with his wife, a violinist). Niles apparently is the only editorial member of the LATimes.com staff to have accepted the buyout offer.
