China Has 16 Million Bloggers
Posted by Fons Tuinstra at 1:00 PM on Dec. 20, 2005
The Chinese search engine Baidu estimates the current number of Chinese bloggers at 16 million, China Web2.0 Review tells me. The research is based on its own indexed pages and sounds more reliable than anything I have seen up to now.

The number of blogs is estimated at 37 million, so 2.3 blogs per blogger on average. China has 658 hosting services of blogs, half of which have more than a thousand blogs.
