WashingtonPost.com Adds Del.icio.us Tags

del.icio.us
WashingtonPost.com has begun adding Del.icio.us tags to its stories (like the one at right). Del.icio.us is a social bookmarks manager that allows you to add sites to your personal collection of favorite Web links, categorize them, and share your collection between different PCs and Web browsers you use or with other people.

Because everything posted to del.icio.us can be made publicly viewable, it's not meant to be just a tool for storing private website bookmark collections, and thus the most popular bookmarks from all users become a guide to the hottest topics on the Web.

This latest addition to WashingtonPost.com keeps the website at the leading edge of newspaper websites. The site also features Technorati links on articles, which point readers to what bloggers are writing about its articles.
