East Bay Express
Kevin Keane, executive editor of Dean Singleton's ANG Newspapers, lashed out at East Bay Express editor Stephen Buel over his recent "Mediocre News" package on MediaNews Group. Buel says he's sorry he didn't call Keane for comment and used a fake byline on a piece that rated reporters. "It was chickenshit for us to call people out by name when we weren't willing to sign our own name to our criticisms." || Keane is interviewed in the current issue.
