During a Thursday talk, Dexter Filkins described the current climate in Iraq as "anarchy," and, when asked if the country is already involved in a civil war, he replied, "Yeah, sure." Filkins said the Times increasingly relies on its 70 Iraqi staffers to go out into the streets and do the actual reporting for the paper.
