Philadelpia Daily NewsHearing that the Inquirer has quietly signed
John Yoo as a
monthly columnist,
Will Bunch wonders how much weight -- if any -- editors gave "to the notion they were awarding a regular column [to a man] who's been accused of unethical lawyering by some, and war crimes by others." Editorial page editor
Harold Jackson says Yoo was named columnist because "he's a Philadelphian, and very knowledgeable about the legal subjects he discusses in his commentaries."
