New Orleans Times-Picayune
Some time ago, Abram Himelstein handed out blank white T-shirts in New Orleans and asked people to scrawl on them things they were thinking but would never say out loud. He turned this into a book titled "What the Hell Am I Doing Here? The 100 T-Shirt Project," and sent a review copy to People. A few months later, he opened the magazine and saw a feature titled "Tee Speech," which said: "We asked celebs to tell us what their shirts would say if they let their tees do the talking." Himelstein says People editors stole his idea. "Even a 3-year-old could see this wasn't a coincidence," says publisher GK Darby.
