Something New
The New York Times online recently posted a multimedia package about the completed renovations at the Brooklyn Museum. The package incorporates video and still images, panoramic views of the museum, and audio narration.
Memo redesign is an efficient use of space, and looks good
Poynter's reporting intern, Matt Thompson, sent me this interesting link. A designer took a
White House memo about Bin Laden and
redesigned it. It's a good lesson in the power of visual organization. Here's what the designer
had to say about it.
Newsmap
Newsmap is a visually interesting display of news fed by Google News. Though its practical uses may be limited, it's nice to see something new and innovative. Kind of like the old days of the Web when there were lots of cool things to get inspired by.
