Convergence Catalog Comes Alive
Posted by Howard Finberg at 9:47 PM on Jun. 30, 2003

How is Convergence working?

The newly launched  Poynter Convergence Catalog provides some insight into the trends and approaches used by today’s partnership projects. What makes this information bank unusual is its focus on an essential aspect of convergence: the willingness to share with your partner.

The Convergence Catalog launches with more than 30 entries that span the country and market size. From the Boston Globe to the Amarillo Globe-News, Poynter hopes to catalog all of the various multi-partner experiments under way.

One of the goals of the Catalogers is to profile the practioners: Learn how convergence is done in Phoenix, Ariz., with an interview of Tracy Collins, deputy managing editor/planning and multimedia at The Arizona Republic.

Do you have a convergence experience?

Please take a moment to help. Poynter has developed a simple form that asks you to list your partners and answer 10 simple questions about how you work together. Please, take five minutes to fill out the form and tell us what's going on.
