From Journalism with a Difference to Diversity at Work
Hello, Journalism with a Difference readers. Building on the good work of Aly Colon, who helped start Poynter's Journalism with a Difference column, Mallary Jean Tenore and colleagues have created a new diversity blog called Diversity at Work (www.poynter.org/diversityatwork).

The blog, which will replace Journalism with a Difference, will feature shorter, more regularly updated posts about such topics as sexual orientation, racial slurs and affirmative action. You'll still see some of the same bylines -- Bobbi Bowman, Cindi Deutschman, Susan LoTempio -- as well as a handful of new ones -- Sherri Williams from The Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch, Kelly Brewington from The Baltimore Sun and Eduardo Lorea from Zero Hora, a newspaper in Brazil.

We hope the blog will serve as a thought-provoking and timely resource that will help you further your coverage, and understanding of, diversity. Check out the resources we've compiled in the left rail of the blog, including a Del.icio.us page (http://del.icio.us/diversityatwork) with regularly updated articles about diversity. We hope you'll stay tuned and share your feedback and ideas as we move forward. Diversity at Work is among several new features we're introducing in advance of our ongoing redesign of Poynter Online, which you can keep up with here.
