USA Today: Watching the Skies
Holiday season means holiday travel. USA Today brings out its Flight Center map on its home page and has a package of other stories, including fares under $300 and airline schedule changes. Mostly, I just like looking at the "delays" map, knowing that I won't be at an airport.

Once you get to where you are going, you need to deal with the family. The Columbus Dispatch has survival tips for being home for the holidays. NPR has a package of recipes and tips from Chris Kimball of America's Test Kitchen. The site also has that cranberry relish that looks very, very pink.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. More highlights next week. If you have a site suggestion for Homepage Highlights, drop us a note.
