Journalism schools are trying to find ways to incorporate technology into what they teach. The University of California-Berkeley has integrated technology into the heart of its curriculum to help students develop skills that will better prepare them to enter the journalism industry after they graduate.

For the July 16 educators chat, Josh Williams, a teaching fellow at the University of California-Berkeley, talked about how California-Berkeley is teaching students about technology to enable them to self publish, tell stories on new platforms and compete in an increasingly competitive job market.
