Feds to Publish Health Care Data
On Friday, the
Department of Health and Human Services will launch a new Web site that will allow consumers to access data on patient satisfaction for nearly all hospitals in the country. Journalists and consumers will be able compare data on facilities in their communities.
Mike Leavitt, secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, will make an announcement about the site Friday during the
Health Journalism 2008 conference.
