It was all over the news this week that a Yale art student had impregnated herself and underwent self-induced abortions as part of an art project. The story was first reported in the Yale Daily News and then played worldwide.

Now Yale University has issued a news release stating it was all fiction. The student says the lie was part of the art project. (Here's a Washington Post story about the hoax.)

That's one crazy art project, huh?
