Bill Cosby Hot on Web Search
One way I measure public interest in a topic is to see what words the public looks up on search engines like Yahoo.
The name Bill Cosby has taken off in the last few days.
Yahoo's Buzz Log says:
Online interest in Cosby rose more than 1,200% in the past week, with
nearly 1 out of 5 searches coming from kids 17 and under. Expect to
hear a lot more about Cosby in May, when the compilation debuts and
his profile in the Atlantic Monthly hits newsstands.
Cosby's new
"State of Emergency" CD hits store shelves next month. The CD includes hip-hop that speaks to self-esteem and the value of education.
