Tracking Your Comments
Posted by Fons Tuinstra 12:20 PM

One thorny problem with having a really decent online conversation was that it used to be very hard to systematically track comments I left at various blogs and sites. That problem has been mostly solved.

For a week, I've been using CoComment: a free online service that allows me to generate RSS feeds indicating when follow up comments appear.

It's not a perfect solution, since it doesn't integrate well yet with all blogging platforms. For instance, the Poynter Online site reacts strangely when I use this tool to track comments I leave on E-Media Tidbits or other blogs or articles here. Otherwise, I consider this tool a necessity for people who converse online.

Thanks for heads up. Google works pretty good, too. At least, it finds all... More.
