E-Media Tidbits Has a New Feed
Yesterday, Poynter Online's multimedia editor Larry Larsen announced that RSS feeds are now available for the various sections of this rich, sprawling journalism resource. This is a wonderful development, which will help Poynter Online become even more deeply connected with the Internet and our various audiences around the world.
Of course, way back in March 2004 this very blog, E-Media Tidbits, became the first part of Poynter Online to offer a feed. It was a custom job created by Adrian Holovaty (who has since become editor of editorial innovations at washingtonpost.com and an occasional Tidbits contributor). It's served us well all this time.
The original Tidbits feed will continue running as long as Holovaty continues to graciously support it. (Thanks, Adrian!) So at the moment there's no absolute need for current Tidbits feed subscribers to update their subscription. All new subscriptions will be to the new feed, however.
The address for Tidbits' new feed is: http://www.poynter.org/media/rss/emedia_tidbits.xml. Please feel free to update your feed reader to that address if you wish.
