Time to Update: Original Tidbits Feed No Longer Works

As some of you might know, E-Media Tidbits was the very first part of Poynter Online to get published by feed back in March 2004. Lots of readers subscribed to that feed. Then, in May 2006, the rest of the site caught up with us with a whole slew of feeds created by Poynter's Larry Larsen.

At that point, I told Tidbits readers that our original feed would continue to work, so there was no immediate need to switch your subscription to the new address.

Well, today TV consultant Terry Heaton let me know that our original feed is not currently working -- and apparently it hasn't been for some time. Sorry, I didn't know about that, since I switched my subscription to the new feed back in May.

If you're still subscribed to our old feed address (http://poynterextra.org/rss/tidbits.xml), it's now time to update your feed reader subscription to our current feed address: http://www.poynter.org/media/rss/emedia_tidbits.xml

Thanks, Terry, for the tip. And thanks, Larry, for doing such a great job with the new suite of feeds for this site. I'm subscribed to all of them.
