Who's a Blogger, and/or Who's a Journalist?
Hawaii
HawaiiReporter.com
Where does this site fit into the media landscape, and how might that affect First Amendment issues?
From the "this debate will probably never be settled" department:

Malia Zimmerman has served as a consultant to ABC's 20/20 on a story about a dam collapse in Hawaii. She also has written for the Web site HawaiiReporter.com, which began publishing in 2002.

Is she a journalist? Or a blogger? Is HawaiiReporter.com a blog or an independent news outlet? And does any of this make a difference as to whether she should be required to testify in court?

This ongoing debate is cropping up more frequently. Read this AP story about this case, from the First Amendment Center.
