Journalists from around the world met in Sao Paulo, Brazil this week to discuss blogs and online journalism. |
Today is the final day of
MediaOn, a seminar about online journalism and blogs in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The event, organized by
Terra.com, has attracted journalists from the U.S., France, U.K., Argentina and Brazil.
On one panel BBC News executive editor for the Americas and Europe Américo Martins and New York Times futurist Michael Rogers discussed how to cover news in the future.
Said Martins, "Our goal is to use as many platforms that can possibly be used, and to help people reach information easily." Rogers added, "Print media won't end, it just won't be as dramatic. Print media will have to discover that what they will offer will be different from what Internet is offering."
