MSNBC now owns Newsvine -- a good move?
Today, MSNBC announced it is buying Newsvine, a "participatory journalism" site. The company describes it as "a great fit." It's MSNBC's first acquisition in its 11-year history. More from MSNBC and Newsvine (don't miss the comments there -- more than 400 as of this writing). Analysis from PaidContent.

As usual, no terms of the transaction were disclosed.
