Everything for the First Woman President
With a great smile,
Michelle Bachelet received the greetings of
her supporters after her triumph was announced in the Chilean election
on Sunday. She had become the first woman elected as president in
Chilean history.
Today, local media offered up big coverage of the election, including photos,
audio files,
minute-to-minute coverage, text, and in this Spanish-speaking country, even news in English (the choice for
Emol.com).
