Online Netzeitung Goes Into Radio
Usually it's the other way round: Traditional media start or buy online
media. In Germany, the online-only "newspaper"
Netzeitung
has been allowed to start a terrestrial radio broadcast in Berlin
together with its partner,
MotorFM. The
new radio will combine news and independent music. Netzeitung, owned by
the Norwegian Orkla Media, already provides content for various
websites, teletext on TV, and white-label
SMS services.
