Tidbits Changing of the Guard
On Monday, March 13, I'll be taking over as the new editor of E-Media Tidbits. I'm both proud and humbled by this task.

I've been an E-Media Tidbits contributor since my predecessor, Steve Outing, started this group weblog several years ago. In that time we've published contributions from experts from many parts of the world, representing experience in almost every segment of online media.

My goal is to carry Steve's vision for this weblog forward: To present ahead-of-the-curve insight, news, and analysis of anything happening in online media that could affect where the news business is going and how news gets done.

Many thanks to Steve for all his hard work on Tidbits -- and for his new citizen-media venture The Enthusiast Group, which we'll undoubtedly be covering after it officially launches. Steve will continue as a tidbits contributor, and we're glad to have him.

Also, many thanks to Julie Moos of Poynter.org for covering the editorial gap between when Steve departed and I arrived.

I'd love to hear from Tidbits readers. What do you think of this weblog? How has it been useful to you, or where have we fallen short of your expectations? Feel free to e-mail me with your comments, suggestions, and criticisms, or comment below. After all, a weblog is only as good as its audience is engaged and involved.
