As the season of Ramadan, Hanukkah, Christmas, and Kwanzaa arrives, check out Beliefnet.com for the 411 on every faith.
Beliefnet is hands-down the best religion site on the Web. This past weekend, Beliefnet won the prestigious General Excellence award from the Online News Association.
The site includes basic facts and in-depth discussions on religions from Baha'i to Zoroastrianism. It has a series of charts comparing various religions, such as this one comparing Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

Especially valuable are
the fully searchable sacred texts from all the major religions, from the Bible to the Qur'an. You can also search the HarperCollins Dictionary of Religion from any page on the site.
If you need to find someone from a specific religion to interview, you'll find the House of Worship locator handy.
For those of you not sure what to give your colleagues, check out the Multi-faith Gift-Giving Guide. (Why yes, jelly donuts are the perfect Hanukkah gift for this Web Tips columnist!)
