Sara James reports Conde Nast considered Quote, Portfolio, File and Currency. That list was narrowed to Quote and Portfolio, with the majority of staffers favoring Quote. "The drawn-out search to find an appealing and available title has apparently been fraught with legal issues for Conde Nast," writes James.
