Matt Walberg, an assistant to Chicago Tribune columnist John Kass, asked Mayor Richard Daley about reports that City Hall overstaffed tollbooths so the mayor wouldn't get stuck in traffic during vacation trips to Michigan. Daley's response: "It's silly. Baldheaded! HA HA HA HA. He's baldheaded! Is that silly. No. C'mon! ... That is the silliest thing I've ever heard. Next question." The Bald-Headed Men of America organization wants the mayor to apologize. || STEVE RHODES: "The really outrageous thing he said yesterday got buried. And it was about the press."
