Len Apcar has been named International Herald Tribune Deputy Managing Editor for Asia, "with important responsibilities for all of the company's journalistic interests in Asia," says a Times memo. The editors note: "On his watch, the [Times] site has won just about every Web journalism award, sometimes three times. His new job will call on all his old journalism and new media skills."
