Chicago Reader
Fuller
Former Chicago Tribune editor and publisher Jack Fuller (left) has been described as "the architect" of Tribune's acquisition of Times Mirror, but he hasn't been quoted in any of the Tribune stories about the Chandler-Trib feud. Michael Miner finds out why: "Reached at home in Chicago, Fuller told me he's decided to say nothing to anyone, including Tribune reporters, about [Chandler family adviser and former Times Mirror CFO Thomas] Unterman and the Times Mirror deal. I told him that back at the paper his reputation has taken a beating. 'It is what it is,' he said."
