Mark Caro says film director
Kevin Smith tracks down every review and every story about him, "whether written by a nationally known writer or some anonymous schmo on a Web site." (He used to laminate all of the newspaper clips.) "Smith may be the most critic-savvy filmmaker who doesn't make films for critics," notes Caro.
