Penn State News
A Penn State graduate student's study shows that the use of embedded reporters in Iraq resulted in more articles about US soldiers' personal lives and fewer articles about the impact of the war on Iraqi civilians. "People do ask whether embedded reporters are less objective and can provide neutral reporting," says researcher
Andrew M. Lindner. "But the question may really be whether embedded reporters had the access or opportunity to talk with people other than the soldiers."
