A State Department investigation found that
Kenneth Tomlinson, chairman of the Broadcasting Board of Governors, put a friend on the payroll and ran his "horse-racing operation" with government resources. Investigators also said that Tomlinson -- former chairman of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting -- repeatedly used government workers to perform personal errands and billed the government for more days of work than rules permit. | Related
